Connect a .site.ink domain to Blogger

Use your name for a Blogger blog.

Steps

  1. In Blogger, open Settings → Custom domain and enter www.yourname followed by the domain.
  2. Add the two CNAME records Blogger shows: www to ghs.google.com, plus a second verification CNAME that is unique to your blog.
  3. Add the four A records so the bare name redirects to www, then turn on the redirect in Blogger settings.

DNS records

A@216.239.34.21
A@216.239.36.21
A@216.239.38.21

"@" means the name itself (yourname.site.ink). "www" means www.yourname.site.ink.

If the platform suggests a CNAME for your root name

Because site.ink is not on the Public Suffix List yet, some platforms treat yourname.site.ink as a subdomain and suggest a CNAME record. A CNAME is not allowed at the root of your name, so use the A (and AAAA) records above instead, or an ALIAS/ANAME record if your DNS host offers one. Why?

Check your setup

DNS changes usually apply within minutes but can take up to a day. Look up your name in WHOIS to confirm the nameservers, and make sure your domain status is not inactive or on hold.
