Use your name for a Shopify store.

- Add the A record and the www CNAME at your DNS host, and remove any other A records for the root name.
- Return to Shopify and select Verify connection.
DNS records
| Type | Host | Value |
|---|---|---|
| A | @ | 23.227.38.65 |
| CNAME | www | shops.myshopify.com |
"@" means the name itself (yourname.site.ink). "www" means www.yourname.site.ink.
If the platform suggests a CNAME for your root name
Because site.ink is not on the Public Suffix List yet, some platforms treat yourname.site.ink as a subdomain and suggest a CNAME record. A CNAME is not allowed at the root of your name, so use the A (and AAAA) records above instead, or an ALIAS/ANAME record if your DNS host offers one. Why?
Check your setup
DNS changes usually apply within minutes but can take up to a day. Look up your name in WHOIS to confirm the nameservers, and make sure your domain status is not inactive or on hold.
