1. Scope
This policy governs the registration of second-level domain names under site.ink (".site.ink names"), operated by PT Aidi Digital Global as the registry. It binds accredited registrars and every registrant through the registration agreement with their registrar.
2. Who may register
Registration is open to individuals and organizations from any country, with no residency or trademark requirements. .site.ink names may be used for any lawful purpose — personal sites, online stores, portfolios, link-in-bio pages, URL shorteners, email, and more.
Registrations can only be made through an accredited registrar. The registry does not accept registrations directly from registrants.
3. Naming rules
| Characters | Letters a–z, digits 0–9, and hyphens (-). Case-insensitive. |
|---|---|
| Length | 1–63 characters, excluding ".site.ink" |
| Hyphens | Not at the start or end; not in both the third and fourth positions (e.g. "ab--cd"). |
| IDN | Not yet available. Non-Latin script names will be announced separately. |
| Level | A single label under site.ink only (e.g. name.site.ink). Subdomains below it are managed by the owner via DNS. |
4. First come, first served
Available names are allocated to the first complete request received by the registry system from a registrar. The registry does not assess whether a registrant is entitled to a name; rights disputes are resolved under the Dispute Resolution Policy.
5. Unavailable names
Some names are reserved by the registry or offered at premium prices. See Reserved Names. A "not registered" WHOIS result does not guarantee that a name can be registered.
6. Registration terms and technical rules
- Registration terms of 1–10 years per transaction, with a maximum of 10 years remaining in total.
- Domains that resolve in DNS require at least 2 and at most 13 nameservers.
- DNSSEC is supported through DS records submitted by the registrar.
- Expiry dates run to the end of the day in the Asia/Jakarta (UTC+7) time zone.
- Grace, redemption, and transfer periods are set out in Domain Lifecycle.
7. Registrant obligations
By registering a .site.ink name, the registrant represents and warrants that:
- the registration data provided is complete and accurate, and will be updated within 7 days of any change;
- registering and using the name does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law;
- the name will not be used for activities prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy;
- the registrant submits to the Dispute Resolution Policy and the decisions made under it;
- the registrant consents to the processing of their data as described in the Privacy Policy.
A registrant who lets others use the name or its subdomains (for example a platform giving users user.platform.site.ink) remains responsible for that use.
8. Registrar obligations
- Pass registry policies through to registrants in the registration agreement.
- Verify registrant contacts according to registry procedures.
- Provide authorization (auth) codes to legitimate registrants without unreasonable delay.
- Send renewal reminders before expiry.
- Maintain an active abuse contact and act on reports within the required deadlines.
9. Registry rights
The registry may deny, suspend (serverHold), lock, transfer, or delete a registration in order to: implement a court order or dispute decision; address abuse; correct system errors; enforce this policy; or protect the integrity, security, and stability of the registry.
